No. RVs and other large private vehicles are not allowed to park in the tour bus parking spaces at this time.

Where can personal vehicles park when visiting the Tunnel Tops?

Paid parking is available for personal vehicles in several areas throughout the Presidio. Please refer to the posted regulations to verify time restrictions and parking permits required.

Can I cancel my reservation and get a refund if my plans have changed for any reason?

Yes. Please call the ACE Parking call center at 1-800-917-2863 to request a refund.

Do school buses need to make reservations?

Yes, please use the reservation portal on this site.

Where is the passenger loading zone for tour buses at Tunnel Tops?

The drop off/pick up area for Tunnel Tops and the Main Post district is located at French Court (see map).

Where are the reserved parking spaces for tour buses at Tunnel Tops or the Presidio’s Main Post district?

There are four reservable bus parking spaces. They are located near the intersection of Anza Ave and Sheridan Ave (see map).

What are the length restrictions for commercial passenger vehicles in the Presidio?

There is a 45-foot length limit for commercial transportation vehicles within the Presidio. Buses and other vehicles that will be dropping off or picking up passengers at the passenger loading zone on French Court must reserve a time window for the passenger loading zone at Tunnel Tops. Buses and other vehicles that exceed 20 feet parking in the Presidio’s Main Post district must reserve a bus parking space. Vehicles under 20 feet may use the passenger loading area on Graham Street (see map) and can purchase parking permits on-site from pay stations.

Are there other areas for tour buses to stop in the Presidio?

Other places for tour buses in the Presidio include:
  • Crissy Field Overlook on Lincoln Boulevard see location here has space for one bus, available on a first-come, first-served basis. No restroom facilities.
  • The plaza near the Golden Gate Bridge Welcome Center at the south end of the Golden Gate Bridge. This area is managed by the Golden Gate Bridge Highway and Transportation District www.goldengate.org
  • Vista Point, on the north end of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Tour buses are prohibited from parking, loading or unloading passengers in unauthorized areas.
